TV-Series
Description
Lala is a supporting character who appears in the first season of the anime series, also known as Garo: The Carved Seal of Flames, and makes a return in the film Garo: Divine Flame. She is a young girl who lives with her family on a farm in the remote village of Santa Bard. Her physical appearance includes brown hair and green eyes, and her occupation is that of a farmer. Lala's personality is defined by her warmth, cheerfulness, and pleasant demeanor; she is someone who smiles and laughs often, which makes her a comforting presence to those around her. Her primary motivation stems from her innate kindness and desire to help others, as seen when her family takes in the protagonist, León Luis, after he attempts suicide. They offer him food and shelter in exchange for his labor on the farm, and Lala forms a gentle friendship with him during this time. Her role in the story is that of a brief but important emotional anchor, providing León with a moment of respite and human connection during a period of deep despair. Key relationships include her bond with León, whom she befriends and supports without judgment, and her family, with whom she lives a simple and hardworking life. While Lala does not undergo significant personal development within the narrative, her presence serves to highlight the ordinary, compassionate world that León is fighting to protect. She possesses no supernatural or combat abilities, as she is an ordinary human farmer whose notable strength lies in her kindness and capacity to offer warmth to a troubled stranger.
