Description
Kuma is a mysterious figure encountered within the television world, initially appearing as a hollow, bear-shaped mascot costume with blue fur and a red-and-white jumpsuit. He resides in that otherworldly space, which he calls his home, but he has no memory of his origin or true nature and craves companionship and a sense of self. In the Japanese version he ends his sentences with the verbal tic “-kuma,” a pun on the Japanese word for bear, while the English adaptation fills his speech with bear-themed wordplay.
His personality is vibrant, eager, and often childlike.
