Description
In the alternate universe of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, Illyasviel von Einzbern, often called Illya, is an elementary school girl living in Fuyuki City who has been thrust into the role of a magical girl. Her background in this timeline is markedly different from her counterpart in the main Fate series, as she has been allowed to experience a mostly normal childhood. This is because her father, Kiritsugu Emiya, and mother, Irisviel von Einzbern, chose to abandon the Holy Grail War ritual when she was very young, sealing away her original memories and the powerful magical knowledge she was born with. Consequently, she lives a peaceful life with her adoptive older brother, Shirou Emiya, and is cared for by her homunculus maids, Sella and Leysritt, while her parents are often away traveling abroad.
