Description
Robes Thiail, alternatively spelled Robes Thial, functions as Varte Parx's principal lieutenant within the Mauve faction. He debuted in *Battle Spirits: Gallet's Revolution*, spearheading critical operations like rescuing Zephyr Try's family and securing a core power station during Varte's revolution.

Two years later, in *Battle Spirits: Mirage*, Robes remains Varte's foremost advisor. He engages in diplomatic negotiations between the Mauve and the Unified Government and assists in liberating Als Glynnhorn from dissident forces. While projecting unwavering loyalty to Varte's crusade for Mauve equality, Robes conceals purely self-serving motives, viewing the faction merely as a conduit for personal enrichment with no true commitment to its ideals.

His betrayal surfaces when Varte departs to confront Rin Jivre. Robes usurps command of the Mauve and launches an assault against Varte, which falters. Upon Varte's return, Robes faces exposure for his treachery and is challenged to a Battle Spirits duel. During their confrontation, Robes unveils his alliance with Graham Leonard and confesses to exploiting the Mauve solely for monetary profit. Defeated by Varte in combat, Robes is subsequently apprehended.

Robes embodies ruthlessness and cunning, masking his avarice behind a veneer of sympathy; he willingly betrays anyone for adequate compensation. He possesses a tall stature, long green hair, and distinctive purple eyes.

In combat, Robes utilizes a red deck specializing in destruction effects, mirroring Varte's earlier deck from *Gallet's Revolution*. Signature cards include Ignite Dragon, The FlamingRageGiantDeity Fury-Golem, True-Flame Demon-God, and magics such as Burst Draw and Burst Wall (revival). His name evokes Maximilien Robespierre from the French Revolution.
