Description
Peter is a first-string performer in the Noah's Ark Circus, the traveling troupe at the center of the anime Black Butler: Book of Circus. He works as a flying trapeze artist and is always paired with his fellow performer Wendy; together, the two are described as a duo in perfect sync and are presented as a featured act, billed as the gasp-inducing flying blanco. He is a young boy with blonde hair cut short to ear length and blue eyes.

As a first-string member of the circus, Peter lives and performs within the troupe, which operates as a close-knit group of acrobats and entertainers. The first-string members regard their patron, the wealthy Baron Kelvin, as "Father," suggesting that the troupe functions like a family under his authority. Peter's loyalty is therefore tied to the circus and to the people he performs alongside, though the deeper and darker purpose behind the troupe's activities is a central element of the story.

In the story, Ciel Phantomhive and his butler Sebastian Michaelis infiltrate the Noah's Ark Circus to investigate a series of missing children whose disappearances seem linked to the troupe's movements. Peter appears as a supporting character within this arc, one of the performers that the disguised intruders encounter while the investigation unfolds. His role is primarily defined by his place in the circus's performances and his connection to the other first-string members.

His most significant relationship is with Wendy, his trapeze partner. The two are almost always seen together, and Wendy is particularly attached to Peter. Their close working partnership is the clearest expression of his character, as his coordination with her is what makes their act stand out. He is also one of several first-string artists who defer to Baron Kelvin as their father figure, placing him within the troubled family structure of the circus.

Peter receives limited individual development over the course of the arc; he is presented mainly as an integral part of the circus ensemble rather than a central figure in the plot. His notable ability is his skill as a flying trapeze artist, which requires considerable agility, balance, and precise timing. His strength as a performer comes specifically from his flawless coordination with Wendy, which is why the duo is so highly regarded within the troupe.
