Description
Kureo Mado is a first-class ghoul investigator working for the Commission of Counter Ghoul, or CCG. He is introduced as a seasoned veteran who hunts ghouls with an unsettling, maniacal enthusiasm, referring to them as trash and believing they are wholly inferior to humans. His background is defined by a single traumatic event: his wife, Kasuka Mado, was killed by the powerful ghoul known as the One-Eyed Owl. This loss left Mado and his young daughter, Akira, in shock and ignited an all-consuming desire for vengeance that drives every action he takes.
