Alzack Connell is a mage from the western continents who immigrated to the town of Magnolia and joined the Fairy Tail Guild. His appearance reflects a cowboy-inspired aesthetic, typically featuring long black hair that covers the right side of his face and his right eye, along with a tasseled poncho, torn pants, and a studded belt. Following a seven-year timeskip, he cuts his hair into a shorter, spikier style, wears a lighter-colored poncho and a dark vest, and adds small tassel earrings. Alzack has a kind and gentle nature, paired with strong determination and deep loyalty to his comrades. He is initially very shy around fellow guild member Bisca Mulan, for whom he harbors romantic feelings, but this hesitation gives way to fierce devotion when her safety is threatened. During the Battle of Fairy Tail arc, when Bisca is turned to stone, Alzack becomes so focused on rescuing her that he defeats his own guild mates Jet and Droy to continue his mission. Over time, he and Bisca marry, and they have a daughter named Asuka Connell. Alzack’s love for his family is absolute; he once sold a treasured snow globe memento from his first mission with Bisca to support their daughter’s future. He specializes in Guns Magic, wielding enchanted revolvers with exceptional skill. His arsenal includes Tornado Shot, Spark Shot, Mud Shot, Sunlight Shot, Blast Bullet, and Omnidirectional Expansion, making him a formidable marksman and a reliable defender of the guild.
