Description
Kinana is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild whose past is intertwined with the dark guild Oración Seis. Her background is unique, as she was originally a young girl transformed into a large, winged purple snake by a malevolent mage. For over a decade, she lived in this serpentine form under the name Cubellios, serving as the beloved pet and companion of Erik, a Dragon Slayer known as Cobra. During the events of the Oración Seis arc, Cubellios fought alongside her master, using her powerful venom to poison opponents like Erza Scarlet and her wings to provide aerial support. Following Cobra's defeat, the Fairy Tail Guild Master Makarov Dreyar discovered the snake was actually a cursed human and successfully broke the spell, restoring her to her original form.
Upon becoming human again, Kinana had no memories of her time as a snake. She told Makarov about a promise she had made with a special friend, that even if they were separated, he would ride a shooting star to return to her. Makarov allowed her to join Fairy Tail, primarily as an employee working as a waitress alongside Mirajane Strauss, partly to keep an eye on her in case her repressed memories resurfaced and caused her distress. Only a few members, including Makarov, Macao Conbolt, Wakaba Mine, and Mirajane, were aware of her secret past.
Kinana has a quiet, mild-mannered, and exceptionally kind personality. She is a diligent and hardworking individual, always eager to help around the guild. In her early days as a human, she had a verbal tic of adding kina to the end of her sentences, a habit she eventually dropped. Despite not initially being a fighter, she displays a courageous and selfless nature, once throwing rocks at enemies to protect her comrades, showing a willingness to risk her own safety even without proper combat magic. Over time, her memories as the snake Cubellios slowly begin to resurface, primarily in the form of a kind voice she hears in her head, which she later recognizes as Erik's.

Upon their reunion, Erik recognized her as his long-lost Cubellios, and the two reconnected.
