Lee is a seventeen-year-old soldier serving the Athens Commonwealth during its invasion of the Kingdom of Krisna. She is a member of the command unit led by Zess, a fellow graduate of the same military academy. Lee attended the academy alongside Cleo, another Athenian soldier, and is described as having a kind personality, having helped take care of Cleo when she struggled to adjust to military life.

Despite this personal kindness, Lee harbors a deep resentment toward Krisna. She believes that Krisna committed ruthless acts during a previous war, and this conviction fuels her dedication to the Athenian cause. However, she appears unaware of or dismisses similar atrocities committed by her own side. Her worldview is shaped by a strong sense of national loyalty and a perception of Krisna as barbaric.

Lee pilots a Golem, the giant quartz-powered war machines used by all factions in the conflict. No unique or extraordinary abilities beyond standard Golem operation are noted for her. Her combat role places her in direct opposition to the protagonist, Rygart Arrow, who pilots an ancient and unusually powerful Golem.

During the Athenian assault on the Krisna capital, Lee’s Golem is disabled by Rygart in battle. Rather than allow herself to be taken prisoner by the Krisna forces she despises, she chooses to take her own life. This act is carried out even after Rygart intervenes to save her from another Krisna soldier who was about to kill her, as she believes death is preferable to captivity among those she considers enemies. Her suicide deeply affects Rygart, underscoring the personal cost of the war.

Lee’s development is limited due to her early death, but her actions illustrate the intensity of nationalistic hatred and the tragic consequences of wartime propaganda. Her key relationships include her camaraderie with Cleo, her loyalty to Zess, and her adversarial encounter with Rygart, which ultimately defines her role in the story.
