Description
Margaret O'Keefe is a supporting character in the anime Buddy Complex. She is a special agent of the Zogilia Republic and serves as a special service officer in the Zogilia Army. She was dispatched by the Zogilia Administration Bureau to supervise the Valiancer unit led by Alfried Gallant as well as the Trident, a multipurpose tactical mother ship that also serves as the flagship of Gallant's strike force. In addition to her role aboard the Trident, she heads the National Executive Committee of the 193rd Independence Submarine Force and the 501st Motorized Unit.

Her personality is defined by an uncompromising sense of duty and a strict adherence to loyalty toward the Great Zogilia Republic. She is known for being highly suspicious of anyone whose allegiance might be in question and will not hesitate to detain such individuals. Her approach to military operations is described as aggressive, and she often prioritizes her own reputation and status above other considerations. This combination of traits makes her a formidable and sometimes rigid authority figure within the Zogilia chain of command.

Margaret O'Keefe's primary motivation is to ensure the success of Zogilia's military objectives and to enforce unwavering loyalty among those under her supervision. She does not shy away from harsh measures to maintain control and order. Her role in the story is that of a supervisor and commander who oversees key Zogilia assets, acting as a representative of the republic's administration. She interacts closely with Alfried Gallant and his squad, but her relationships are largely professional and driven by her duty rather than personal bonds.

There is little indication of significant character development over the course of the series; she remains consistent in her loyalist and aggressive demeanor. Her notable abilities lie not in piloting or direct combat but in command, organization, and tactical supervision. She is adept at managing military units and maintaining discipline, relying on her authority and strategic thinking to fulfill her responsibilities.
