Description
Miki is a supporting character who appears in the movie Initial D: Third Stage. He is the ex-boyfriend of Natsuki Mogi and was a senior member of their high school's soccer club before graduating and moving to Tokyo to attend university. During the winter break, he returns to Gunma and reenters the local street racing scene. Miki serves as Takumi Fujiwara's penultimate opponent in the film, racing him on the snow-covered roads of Akina. His primary motivation is personal rivalry, stemming from his past relationship with Natsuki and his desire to prove himself against Takumi, whom he sees as having taken his place in her life. Miki is competitive and somewhat prideful, driving a Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205, a turbocharged all-wheel-drive car that he handles with considerable skill. His role in the story is to provide a final emotional and physical challenge for Takumi before the movie's climax, testing both Takumi's driving ability and his resolve. Miki's development is limited; he appears largely unchanged from his earlier appearances, maintaining his antagonistic stance toward Takumi. His notable abilities include competent driving on slippery winter roads and knowledge of the Akina course. Key relationships include his strained connection with Natsuki, who has moved on from him, and his direct opposition to Takumi, which drives their race.
