Description
Raizou Todoroki is a supporting character in the anime Ace of Diamond. He is the coach of the Yakushi High School baseball team and the father of its star slugger, Raichi Todoroki. Before taking on the coaching role, he played amateur baseball until his forties, when he retired. At Yakushi, a private school in Tokyo, he helped shape the team into a noted dark horse in the West Tokyo tournaments, with an aggressive lineup built around heavy batting practice and explosive scoring.
In personality, Raizou is an easy-going figure who gets along well with his players, but he carries serious troubles in his family life. His wife left him, leaving him to raise Raichi on his own.
