Description
Nineteen-year-old Keita Torii, a junior high school dropout, lives with his mother and younger brother. Severe financial hardship struck his family due to his mother's crippling debt to loan sharks, forcing Keita into criminal activities—including an orchestrated attempt to murder a drug dealer. Yuusuke Yotsuya intervened under the Game Master's guidance, halting the attempt and leading to the loan sharks' arrest, eliminating the family's debt.

Following this event, the Game Master recruited Keita as the fifth player in the heroes' group, transporting him to a parallel universe for quests. Initially assigned the job of Axe Warrior (Rank 1), Keita later switched to Spear Warrior, advancing from Rank 1 to Rank 10 across missions. His innate physical strength and combat roles propelled him to become the strongest physical fighter among the heroes by the fifth quest.

Keita possesses a straightforward, impulsive, and occasionally reckless personality, contrasting Yuusuke Yotsuya's pragmatic cynicism. He bonds readily, especially with male characters, developing a distinct fondness for Yuusuke whom he finds amusing. He actively pursues romantic interest in fellow party member Iu Shindo. Loyalty drives him, particularly his protective instinct towards his younger brother and mother—the core motivation behind his initial criminal involvement.

Throughout quests, Keita demonstrated combat effectiveness and an evolving group role. On Jiffon Island, he fought orcs and endured natural disasters like volcanic eruptions and tsunamis alongside the party. He faced a significant moral challenge: forcibly killing Iris, a villager infected by a lethal parasite, to prevent suffering and spread—an action underscoring his willingness to undertake harsh measures when necessary. While his brashness sometimes caused team friction, his combat reliability and growing commitment to the party's goals marked his progression.
