Description
Mondo Oowada is a student enrolled in Hope's Peak Academy as a member of Class 78, where he holds the title of Ultimate Biker Gang Leader. He is the second leader of the Crazy Diamonds, widely regarded as the largest and most feared biker gang in Japan. Mondo inherited the position from his older brother, Daiya Owada, after Daiya's death, and the two were known together as the Diamond Brothers. Mondo's background is rooted in his deep admiration for his brother, who taught him the values of loyalty, strength, and the importance of keeping a promise. He often felt overshadowed by Daiya's legendary reputation and struggled with feelings of inadequacy.

Within the story of Danganronpa The Animation, Mondo is one of the fifteen students trapped inside Hope's Peak Academy by Monokuma and forced into a killing game.
