Description
Nonoka Masaki is a second-year high school student and a classmate of the protagonist Kazuya Maeda, having been his friend since middle school. She is one of the main heroines of the story. She has below-average academic performance but is extremely athletic, serving as the ace pitcher of the school’s softball club. Her upbeat and energetic personality allows her to maintain a wide circle of friends of both genders. She has a playful tendency to tease her friends and frequently gives Kazuya nicknames based on his current hobbies; the one she uses most often is Darts’un, from a time he tried playing darts. Despite her outgoing nature, romance is not something she actively thinks about, and she initially has a natural awkwardness when it comes to love. In her dedicated storyline, she begins to question her feelings and becomes more conscious of Kazuya, leading her to tentatively explore a romantic connection. She is cautious and slightly insecure in matters of the heart, hesitating to fully trust or express her emotions at first. Her role in the narrative is that of a close, long-time friend whose carefree relationship with the protagonist gradually deepens into something more. Physically, she has short brown hair and brown eyes. Her notable abilities include her exceptional physical coordination, particularly in softball, and her knack for lighthearted teasing that helps maintain her easygoing friendships. Over the course of her arc, she matures emotionally, moving from a state of being uninterested in love to acknowledging and acting on her developing feelings.
