Description
Aizō Shibasaki is a Japanese high school student and one half of the male idol unit LIP×LIP. He has dirty blond hair often tied in a ponytail, brown eyes, and a later more muscular build, standing initially at 160cm tall. His image color is yellow.

Born on February 22, Aizō's childhood shifted significantly after his parents' divorce. He was initially close to his older brother Ken and mother Yuuko, but Yuuko became neglectful and physically abusive post-divorce, fostering Aizō's distrust of women. Despite this, he continued caring for her, such as walking her home when intoxicated, though she remained unaware. He isolates himself from his family, using music as an emotional outlet.

Aizō possesses a dual personality. Publicly as an idol, he presents as sociable, approachable, and charming, achieving significant popularity. Privately, he exhibits a rougher, more irritable demeanor, using coarse language and snapping at others to maintain boundaries. He acts impulsively and selflessly, exemplified by jumping into a pool to save a drowning child despite being a weak swimmer. Though often passive-aggressive, he shows genuine care for those close to him, such as gifting his prized stuffed animal to his partner Yujiro to cheer him up. His primary hobby is music, including singing, composing, and playing guitar, which motivated his idol career audition.

His relationship with LIP×LIP partner Yujiro Someya began contentiously after a clash at their initial audition. Forced to debut as a unit, their early interactions were marked by rivalry and arguments. Over time, they developed mutual respect and deep loyalty. Aizō shared a personal "secret spot" in a Tokyo park with Yujiro, which became their space for private conversations and emotional support. He feels responsible for Yujiro's well-being, especially after Yujiro collapsed from overwork during the LOVE&KISS musical; Aizō vowed to prevent such incidents thereafter. Their bond evolved into what Aizō later acknowledged as Yujiro being his "most important person," enduring professional challenges including briefly considering separation over a potential third member.

At school, Aizō initially treated classmate Hiyori Suzumi harshly after she witnessed Yujiro at a police station, calling her a "bumpkin." However, when she became LIP×LIP's manager, they grew closer. He and Yujiro later assisted her in preparing for a confession, offering supportive encouragement.

Aizō maintains a strained but caring dynamic with his brother Ken, embarrassed to express affection directly—such as flippantly gifting concert tickets—though he respects Ken's commitment to his girlfriend Arisa. Unresolved trauma from his mother's treatment surfaces in his aversion to romantic entanglements with women.

Professionally, Aizō adapts to idol life demands. During the troubled LOVE&KISS musical, he initially wished to quit due to director mistreatment but persisted at Yujiro's insistence. His solution involved ad-libbing performances to stay true to himself. His career includes rivalries with idols like ASCANA, Full Throttle4, and Mona, whom he frequently bickers with but maintains a professionally "close" rapport.

Aizō's development centers on emotional vulnerability and commitment to others. From an impulsive, guarded teenager, he learned to channel his passion for music into collaborative artistry, forging an unbreakable partnership with Yujiro while gradually opening up to trusted individuals like Hiyori and Ken. His journey reflects the reconciliation of his public and private selves through enduring friendships and artistic integrity.
