Shortly after this confrontation, she collapses in front of the vase. Upon regaining consciousness, her behavior is completely changed, and she commands all students to remain at school to protect the precious vase. This drastic shift in character reveals that she has been possessed by a demon residing within the vase. Her life is put in danger, as the demon’s possession threatens her survival unless it is exorcised. The protagonist, Maron, who transforms into the thief Jeanne, succeeds in defeating the demon, thereby saving Frau Pakkyaramao’s life.
