Description
The Armanoid Boss is the primary antagonist for the first story arc of the anime, serving as the sovereign leader of the Armanoid alien race. His background establishes him as the king or supreme ruler of his people, a mechanized alien species that sets its sights on conquering Earth. Following the complete destruction of the Iron Beast Corps, his vanguard forces, the Armanoid Boss escalates the conflict dramatically, demonstrating a ruthless and determined personality that will stop at nothing to achieve victory.

The primary motivation of the Armanoid Boss is the conquest and destruction of Earth. When his initial invasion forces are repelled, he reveals the full scope of his plan by initiating a desperate and ultimate strategy. He commands the entire Armanoid home planet to be moved from its original location and set on a collision course with Earth, showing a willingness to sacrifice his own world to accomplish his goals.

In the story, the Armanoid Boss acts as the final adversary of the Armanoid invasion arc, commanding from afar. His most notable action is deploying a powerful, giant robot shaped like a rocky face, named Bangas, to Earth. This robot is incredibly durable, possessing strength that makes it immune to destruction even from the most powerful missiles. The Armanoid Boss maintains a direct, unseen role in this final battle by keeping a continuous energy link open between his moving home planet and the Bangas robot, powering its operations on Earth. His key relationship is with the Zero Testers, the elite defense team who stand as the sole obstacle to his invasion. His development throughout the arc culminates in this final gambit, moving from a conventional invader to a commander willing to use his entire planet as a weapon.

The notable abilities of the Armanoid Boss are not focused on personal combat but on large-scale strategic and technological power. His primary ability is the command and control of the Armanoid planet, maneuvering this massive celestial body through space. He also possesses the capability to transmit vast amounts of energy across space to power his war machines, as demonstrated with the Bangas robot on Earth. This ability is also his critical weakness; once the Zero Testers manage to sever the energy supply from the Armanoid planet to Bangas, the robot ceases all function, leading to the failure of his final assault.
