Dragon Principal, known in Japanese as Doragon kōchō, is the headmaster of Sunshine Academy in Jewelpet Sunshine. As his name suggests, he is a large dragon, specifically a Western-style dragon with a red body, a long pink mane running down his spine, bat-like wings, four yellow horns, and spiky fins on his cheeks. His true name is never revealed, and he is one of the Wise Ones, a fact disclosed late in the series.
In terms of personality, Dragon Principal is portrayed as gentle and remarkably laid-back. He spends the majority of his time sleeping on top of the school building and rarely takes an active role in daily academic affairs.
