Description
Michael Ballzack, originally known as Norihito Kurama, is a supporting character in the anime Inazuma Eleven GO. He is a forward for Raimon Junior High and wears the number 11 jersey. Physically, he has short, wavy blue hair that covers his left eye, black eyes, and tanned skin. He is one of the shorter members of the team.
Ballzack has a quick temper and is easily irritated, often expressing disdain for people he finds annoying, initially including the protagonist Arion Sherwind (Tenma Matsukaze) and even former coach Mamoru Endou. Despite this abrasive exterior, he genuinely cares about the team and is deeply loyal. When Endou left Raimon, Ballzack was visibly saddened, revealing his hidden respect for the coach. Over the course of the series, his attitude softens; he begins to treat Arion more civilly, although he still occasionally refers to him as annoying. His motivation is centered on his dedication to soccer, which grows stronger as he participates in more matches.
In the story, Ballzack is one of the original Raimon players who helps Captain Riccardo Di Rigo oppose the oppressive Fifth Sector regime. He is present in the early confrontation against Victor Blade's team. He is one of the three players Riccardo specifically asks to remain with the team during the movie storyline. He plays in nearly every match as a starter whenever he is part of the team, a feat shared only with Gabriel Garcia and Samguk Han.
Ballzack's most notable ability is his shooting technique, Viper Shot. His only scored goal in the series occurs during the match against Gassan Kunimitsu, where he combines his Viper Shot with Arion's Sonic Wind to break through the opponent's defense.
