Description
Norihito Kurama is a supporting character and a forward for Raimon in the Inazuma Eleven GO series. He is a second-year student at Raimon and is known for being quick-tempered and easily angered. He frequently expresses annoyance toward characters he finds bothersome, such as Matsukaze and even Coach Endou, yet beneath this irritable exterior he genuinely cares for his teammates. When Coach Endou left the team, Kurama was visibly saddened along with the rest of the group, revealing his underlying attachment. Over time and through many matches, he gradually became kinder toward Tenma, though he still referred to him as annoying, and his dedication to soccer grew stronger as he became more determined to win.
Kurama has light blue hair that covers his left eye, dark eyes, and tanned skin. He is the second shortest member of the team. As a forward, he is known for his miraculous shot control, using his keen physique to execute precise and powerful shots. In the Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone storyline, he was chosen to accompany the team on a time‑travel mission to the era of King Arthur, where he became a member of the Entaku no Kishidan. Notably, he was the only Raimon player who did not participate in the Ragnarok Tournament.
Kurama is close to his fellow second‑year teammates, particularly Hamano and Hayami, and often plays the role of the calm, somewhat pessimistic voice among them. He is also best friends with Minamisawa Atsushi. In the early part of the series, he was among the players who followed the directives of the Fifth Sector, but after the match against Mannouzaka he began to align himself with the team’s growing independence. His development shows a shift from a strict, rule‑following attitude to a more flexible and team‑oriented mindset. Kurama is able to recognize his teammates’ strengths and does not value his own pride over the team’s success, as demonstrated when he willingly accepted a role that did not showcase his personal abilities for the benefit of the group. His notable techniques include the Barista Shot, a precise shoot that functions as a goal‑scoring weapon, though in later game appearances it was changed to the Tiger Drive. He also has a character song titled DO OUR BEST!! along with Hamano.
