Description
Anosillus the 2nd, designated "The 2nd," is a kaiju from the Computer World who assumes human form while retaining her kaiju essence. She serves as the successor to the original Anosillus from *Gridman the Hyper Agent*, confirmed across multiple Gridman Universe installments.
Her origins remain shrouded in mystery, though she claims observation long before Tsutsujidai City's creation and an encounter with Yuta Hibiki prior to his amnesia. Unlike other kaiju in *SSSS.GRIDMAN*, she operates independently, pursuing her own agenda rather than being created by Akane Shinjo or Alexis Kerib. Her early appearances feature background cameos before formally introducing herself to Yuta Hibiki in an alley. She leads him on a revealing "date," exposing Akane Shinjo's manipulations, the nature of the Illusion Monsters, and their world's fabricated reality. Later, she rescues Anti from near-death, forging a lasting partnership.
In *SSSS.DYNAZENON*, she reemerges as an adult alongside Anti (now Knight) after kaiju eugenicists weaken dimensional barriers. She and Knight offer aid to the Dynazenon pilots, facing initial suspicion and rejection. They nonetheless intervene to defeat the kaiju Bullbind, with her deploying a Fixer Beam charge to heal Dynazenon. Later, she informs Chise Asukagawa about the necessity of leaving with Goldburn, as it cannot coexist in a normal world. During the climax against Gagula, she supports the injured Gauma and witnesses Knight's transformation into Kaiser Gridknight. Three months post-Gagula's defeat, she departs with Knight, Dynarex, and Goldburn to another Computer World.
Her role expands in the film *GRIDMAN UNIVERSE*, where she acquires the monster battleship Sounderous. This vessel combines with her in Battle Mode as armored battle armor, enabling direct combat against the antagonist Mad Origin.
Physically, her human form appears as a short girl standing at 125 cm (27 kg) with dark skin, dark green hair styled in horn-like braids, and red eyes. She sports a dark green hoodie with light green patches over a yellowish clef-note shirt, black shorts, brown crocs, fingerless gloves, and often carries a large blue coin-filled bag. As an adult in *SSSS.DYNAZENON*, she grows taller (165 cm, 55 kg) with lighter skin, her hair tied in a bun, adopting a professional look with a suit, oval glasses, white shoes, identity card, and heart-shaped earrings.
Personality-wise, she displays mild sadism and social awkwardness, showing limited grasp or interest in human social norms. Despite this, she demonstrates underlying kindness by aiding Yuta and healing allies. She proves resourceful, collecting coins for sustenance, and possesses sufficient social skills to blend into human society and establish trust.
Her abilities include size manipulation, allowing her to enlarge herself and later don Sounderous as battle armor; the Fixer Beam, a healing energy released via her Live Baton using limited-use cartridges; the Live Baton and Vaccine Ampules for deploying Fixer Beams or healing serums; and command of the monster battleship Sounderous, functioning in Fortress Mode for transport and firepower, and in Battle Mode syncing with her enlarged form to become armored battle armor.
