Natora Einus is a lieutenant in the Earth Federation Forces who serves as the captain of the transformable assault carrier Diva during the third generation of the conflict depicted in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. She comes from the Einus house, a very old and noble family, but from a young age she was scorned and disregarded by her father and grandfather because the family was male-dominated. Her commission in the military was obtained primarily through her grandfather's influence rather than her own demonstrated ability, and as a result she possesses little practical skill and is deeply unsure of herself. This lack of self-confidence becomes a significant problem when she is assigned to command the aging warship, as she genuinely doubts her own capacity to lead its crew and manage combat situations effectively. Nonetheless, Flit Asuno, a veteran pilot and key figure in the Earth Federation, recognizes some inherent potential within her and takes her under his wing. Under his guidance, Natora begins to show signs of growth, directing the Diva with occasional effectiveness despite her initial struggles. Her role in the story is that of a reluctant and inexperienced commander who must learn to overcome her insecurities and live up to the responsibilities placed upon her. Her key relationship is with Flit Asuno, who acts as a mentor and source of encouragement. Throughout her arc, Natora develops from a timid officer into someone who can at times rise to the demands of her position, though she never fully sheds her self-doubt.
