Inukashi, a major character from the anime No. 6, is a resourceful and sharp-tongued resident of the West Block, the impoverished and lawless district outside the utopian walls of the city of No. 6. Inukashi runs a makeshift hotel in a dilapidated building, offering rooms for rent alongside a unique service: the loan of dogs for warmth. This practical business model gives the character their name, as "Inukashi" literally translates to "dog lender."
