Description
Jun Nagase is a major supporting character appearing in the second season of the anime, where she serves as the final conquest target. She is a 21 year old university student from Narusawa University who returns to her alma mater, Majima Academy, as a student teacher. With a height of 162 centimeters, she possesses an enthusiastic and energetic demeanor that immediately sets her apart from many other faculty members.

Her personality is defined by a powerful idealism and a relentless, almost overwhelming determination. She genuinely believes that every person can reach their full potential if they apply enough effort, a philosophy she tries to instill in her students. This often manifests in a pushy or overbearing manner, as she tends to force her own ideals onto others without considering their personal circumstances. Despite this intensity, her efforts come from a place of sincere care, and she typically maintains a soft, smiling, and friendly disposition unless she witnesses laziness or apathy. One of her most notable quirks is her deep passion for professional wrestling; her idol is the late wrestler Jumbo Tsuruma, whom she frequently references during self-introductions or watches on her phone during breaks.

Jun's primary motivation as an educator is to become the perfect teacher and to create an ideal classroom environment where no student is left behind. This drive is rooted in her own past experiences, specifically her time as the president of the girls' basketball club, which eventually disbanded due to issues she never fully understood, leaving her with a lingering sense of failure. Her role in the story begins when she is assigned to observe a class taught by her senior, the teacher Nikaido. Upon noticing that the aloof student Keima Katsuragi spends his class time playing video games, she decides he is a problem child in need of salvation, unaware that her obsessive desire to heal him creates a gap in her heart that allows a loose soul to take residence.

Her relationship with Keima Katsuragi is the central conflict of her arc. Unlike typical conquest targets, Jun views Keima strictly as a student in need of guidance, reversing the usual dynamic of pursuit. While Keima tries to avoid her to plan a conventional romantic route, Jun actively hunts him down, dragging him to lunch and attempting to force him to socialize. This creates a unique difficulty for Keima, as he must find a way to make a teacher see a student as an equal romantic partner within a limited timeframe, a scenario he finds unprecedented and frustrating.

Over the course of her teaching practicum, Jun experiences notable development. Her overly forceful methods eventually cause a backlash from the class, leading her to lose confidence in her entire philosophy. However, her bond with Keima, combined with an apology from her students, helps her realize that persistence is necessary, though she must also learn to listen to others. In terms of notable abilities, Jun is surprisingly athletic and physically capable, a holdover from her days as a basketball club president. She demonstrates proficiency in soccer during physical education and her wrestling fandom suggests a familiarity with combat sports. As a student teacher, she is academically competent and dedicated, though her primary strength lies in her unyielding willpower and high physical fitness, rather than any supernatural skill.
