TV-Series
Description
Miho Noyama is a first-year high school student at the school where the series takes place. She is a classmate and close friend of Yutaka Imai, and she also shares a class with Toru Ichii. Miho has waist-length dark hair with short bangs and brown eyes. She is a kind and considerate person, though she is also practical and level-headed in her approach to social situations.

Miho's primary motivation is to maintain a balanced and peaceful friendship with those around her, particularly with Toru. Unlike Yutaka, who becomes excessively enthusiastic and clingy around Toru, Miho admires Toru from a more reserved distance. She appreciates that Toru is good at many things yet does not brag about it, and she respects Toru's composed and cool demeanor. Miho genuinely wants to be on good terms with Toru, but she is careful not to intrude on her personal space. This moderation defines her role in the story: she serves as a grounding influence on Yutaka, frequently intervening to prevent Yutaka from overwhelming Toru with her attention. Miho even establishes a self-imposed rule that limits how much time Yutaka can spend pursuing Toru, ensuring that Toru has room to breathe. In this way, Miho acts as a secondary supporter within the friend group, helping to maintain harmony without being a central figure in the main quartet's daily activities.

Miho is diligent and takes her studies seriously. She is often seen studying and is known for her good grades and problem-solving skills. Her dedication extends to her extracurricular involvement; she is a member of the school's broadcasting club, where she serves as the sound director, responsible for ensuring clear audio quality during broadcasts. This interest in broadcasting is tied to her aspiration to pursue a career in journalism. Despite her studious nature, she is warm and caring toward her friends, always willing to lend a helping hand or listen to their concerns.

Her key relationships are with Yutaka Imai, whom she affectionately calls Miporin in return, and with Toru Ichii. Her friendship with Yutaka is the most active, as she regularly manages Yutaka's enthusiasm. Her relationship with Toru is more understated but marked by mutual respect. Miho does not undergo dramatic personal development over the course of the series, as her role is largely that of a steady, sensible presence. However, her consistent actions reinforce the theme of considerate friendship and the value of giving others appropriate space. Her notable abilities are not physical or supernatural but rather social and organizational: she is perceptive about others' boundaries, she is a capable student, and she has technical skills in sound production for the broadcasting club.
