Description
Pao-Lin Huang, better known by her hero alias Dragon Kid, is a young professional hero in the city of Stern Bild. She is a Chinese-born teenager who was sent by her parents from China to Stern Bild to train and work as a superhero, and she lives there under the care of a trusted guardian. From a young age she received focused training in martial arts, and she approaches her responsibilities with a seriousness and maturity that often exceed what would be expected for someone her age.
As a NEXT, a human born with special abilities, Pao-Lin can generate and control electricity. She wields a staff as her primary weapon and channels powerful electrical discharges through it in combat, though she can also direct lightning directly at opponents or use electrical energy defensively. Her fighting style blends her powers with kung fu techniques, making her an agile, fast, and highly versatile fighter. The televised hero system she belongs to promotes her as the lightning bolt kung fu master. Her hero costume reflects her Chinese heritage, consisting of a yellow cheongsam-style tunic, green shorts, and metal guards covering her lower arms, and it carries the marks of her sponsors, the food company Calbee and the website DMM.com.
