Description
Keith Goodman, known to the public as the hero Sky High, is a professional hero working for the Poseidon Line company in Sternbild City. Standing at 175 centimeters tall, he is a young man with a sincere and optimistic disposition who places a strong emphasis on politeness and good manners.

His personality is defined by a deep sense of duty, loyalty, and an earnest kindness. He is often described as an airhead due to his socially awkward and comically formal manner, yet he is also a serious individual who takes his responsibilities very seriously. Keith has a habit of repeating himself for emphasis, with his signature catchphrase being a cheerful "Thank you, and again, thank you". He sees justice in fairly straightforward terms, believing that a criminal is a criminal, and he adheres strictly to the rules and orders he is given, seeing it as his role to uphold the social order for the safety and happiness of the citizens. This dedication to rules sometimes puts him at odds with heroes who are more willing to improvise.

Keith's primary motivation is the protection of others. He takes his gift of power seriously, operating from a belief akin to "with great power comes great responsibility". This drive is not for personal fame, but for service. Despite his status as the most popular hero, he remains humble and dedicated, spending his evenings patrolling the city on his own initiative even when not required by his work schedule. He is also deeply devoted to his pet dog, John, whom he walks daily.

Within the story, Keith holds the prestigious title of King of Heroes, a ranking he maintained for a long time due to his solo popularity and high performance points. His role is that of the top-tier professional and a model hero, often looked up to by his colleagues. He spends considerable time with his dog and seems to have limited social interactions outside of his hero duties, often appearing genuinely excited to be included in group activities. His key relationships are built on mutual respect, especially with the older hero Kotetsu Kaburagi (Wild Tiger), whom he supports and respects, and who in turn trusts Sky High's abilities in critical moments.

The character experiences significant development following a major defeat by the villain Jake Martinez, which shakes his confidence and leads to him losing his King of Heroes title to Barnaby Brooks Jr.. This loss plunges him into a deep slump as he struggles with self-doubt and a perceived failure to meet the public's expectations. He overcomes this crisis after forming a connection with a mysterious young woman he meets in a park, to whom he confesses his worries. She becomes his inspiration to regain his faith in himself. In a tragic turn of events, he later destroys a rampaging android, unaware that the machine is actually that same young woman. This experience allows him to heal and move forward with a renewed heart. Later, when the villain Albert Maverick manipulates his memories, Keith is turned against his fellow hero Kotetsu, only to have his memories restored by Kotetsu's daughter, who possesses a copy of his own powers.

Keith's notable ability is the manipulation of wind, which he uses for both high-speed flight and powerful offensive attacks. His powers are known to have awakened relatively late for a NEXT, at the age of eighteen. While his attacks are formidable, his straightforward combat style can leave him vulnerable against enemies with tricky or unconventional abilities, as demonstrated in his decisive loss to Jake Martinez.
