TV-Series
Description
Aika Takeuchi is a second-year Pandora student at West Genetics, where she holds the rank of fourth among all second-year students in the academy. She is a Japanese national, sixteen years of age, and is known by the epithet the Manipulator of Water, a reference to her combat abilities and her distinctive Volt Weapon. In terms of physical appearance, Aika has dark hair that she typically wears in a ponytail and green eyes. Her measurements are recorded as ninety fifty-four eighty-four, giving her a figure that is comparable in bust size to that of Satellizer el Bridget.

In her role as a mid-ranked upperclassman, Aika is part of a group of second-year Pandoras, alongside Trish McKenzie and Audrey Duval, who collectively attempt to assert their authority over lower-ranked and first-year students. Their shared motivation stems from a humiliating defeat suffered at the hands of Satellizer L. Bridget during the West Genetics Carnival, a ranking battle. Unable to challenge Satellizer directly again after that loss, the trio seeks retribution by targeting those close to her, specifically her Limiter partner, Kazuya Aoi.

Aika’s personality displays a notable duality. On one hand, she and her associates are depicted as bullies who take advantage of their status to intimidate and punish underclassmen who they feel do not show proper respect. She demonstrates a particularly cruel and sadistic streak during a confrontation with Kazuya and his friends. While attacking Kazuya, Kaho Hiiragi, and Arthur Crypton, Aika focuses her aggression on Arthur, explicitly stepping on his groin and laughing while doing so, an act that her own companions refer to as her bad habit. On the other hand, Aika acts in a cowardly or cautious manner when faced with an opponent she perceives as genuinely stronger than herself. This is evident when she is easily defeated by Satellizer during the Carnival, and again when she chooses not to confront the powerful transfer student Rana Linchen after witnessing Rana single-handedly and effortlessly defeat her allies, Trish and Audrey.

Regarding her combat abilities, Aika is a trained Pandora capable of wielding a Volt Weapon. Her specific weapon of choice is a chained flail, which she can also separate into two distinct pieces for combat. Despite her respectable ranking as the fourth-strongest second-year student, her capabilities are far surpassed by top-tier Pandoras like Satellizer and Rana, who defeat her with little difficulty. The key relationships in Aika's story are primarily with her fellow second-year Pandoras, Audrey Duval and Trish McKenzie. The three are frequently seen together and act as a unit, sharing the goal of punishing first-year students and seeking revenge on Satellizer by targeting her associates. Her interaction with Arthur Crypton is antagonistic and serves as the primary illustration of her sadistic nature.

Throughout her limited appearance in the narrative, Aika does not undergo significant personal development or a character arc. Instead, she functions as an early antagonist, representing the abusive upperclassman dynamic within West Genetics. Her role is to demonstrate the harsh hierarchy of the academy and to provide a minor obstacle that ultimately showcases the superior power of both the protagonist, Satellizer, and the new rival, Rana Linchen.
