Description
Keito Nichi is a student at Southern Cross High School, where she serves as the class representative for her class and sits directly in front of the protagonist, Takuto Tsunashi. On the surface, she presents a cold, serious, and business-like demeanor, personifying the model student who does not tolerate disruptive behavior. She is the head of the science club and has a noted interest in mixing chemicals and potions, a skill she sometimes uses to manipulate those around her. Beneath this studious exterior, Keito holds a much more significant and secret role. She is a member of the Glittering Crux Brigade, a mysterious organization, where she is known by the code name Ivrogne and serves as the leader of the Bougainvilleae squad. Her position within the organization is further complicated by the revelation that she is also the East Maiden, one of the four shrine maidens of the island whose powers are central to the story's events. Unlike some of her more flamboyant and aggressive colleagues in the Crux, Keito is often more reserved and disapproves of underhanded tactics.

A traumatic incident during a storm, in which a totem pole fell and trapped Sugata, created a lasting rift between them.
