Description
Ken Satori is a member of the Arashiyama Unit, a team of A-Rank agents in Mikado City. At sixteen years old, he stands at 171 centimeters and holds the position of a Sniper, distinguished by the unique ability to wield two sniper rifles simultaneously. Beyond his duties with Border, he is a high school student who shares a class with other agents including Taichi Betsuyaku and Hisato Sasamori.

In appearance, Satori has messy, chin-length light brown hair parted in the middle to keep it from his face, paired with green eyes. He typically wears the standard Border uniform, and when in Trigger mode, he dons a red athletic jacket with a high collar, black leggings, and the A-Rank emblem patch on his right shoulder, along with a Bagworm for stealth.

Satori has a goofy, carefree, and lighthearted personality, maintaining this demeanor even in combat situations. He frequently seeks attention and boasts about his unparalleled skill as a sniper, notably referring to himself with grand titles and often asking others if they witnessed his signature moves. This eagerness to stand out is a core part of his character, though it sometimes leads to him being overlooked or treated as an airhead by his teammates, particularly Ai Kitora. He has a habit of performing a deep bow (dogeza) as a form of apology or thanks, a practice he started to differentiate himself from others. His known likes include hamburgers and girls. His stated reason for choosing the Sniper position is straightforward: he wanted to save more people.

Within the story, Satori operates as a member of the A-Rank Arashiyama Unit. He participated in the Black Trigger Retrieval arc, where he successfully performed a twin snipe against two enemy agents simultaneously. During the Border Enlistment arc, he was responsible for helping to instruct new C-Rank trainees in sniping, a task that put him on the spot when Chika Amatori accidentally destroyed part of the base with a single shot from an Egret rifle; he promptly took responsibility for the incident. He also fought during the Large-Scale Invasion arc, assisting in taking down Trion soldiers, and for his efforts, his unit received an Outstanding Service Reward. Later, he acted as a commentator for some B-Rank Rank Battles.

Satori's key relationships are primarily with his teammates in the Arashiyama Unit. He is often the target of teasing or cold treatment, especially from Ai Kitora, but remains part of the team under Jun Arashiyama's leadership. He was previously close with Kuniharu Kakizaki before the latter left the unit, and it is noted that Satori was upset by his departure. He is also a school junior to several prominent agents, including Masafumi Shinoda, Sōya Kazama, and Takaaki Katagiri, but seems to have a closer connection with Kōhei Izumi. Among his peers, he is known for his unique combat style.

Developmentally, Satori is consistently portrayed as a capable but somewhat comedic figure who is proud of his abilities. His nickname "Mr. I'll Take Responsibility" stems from the training incident with Chika, highlighting his tendency to quickly accept blame. Despite being a skilled A-Rank agent, his personality often overshadows his competence within the narrative.

Satori's most notable ability is his mastery of the Twin Snipe technique, which allows him to fire two Egret sniper rifles at the same time, aiming with one eye per scope. This is a rare skill within Border, and he is the only agent known to have two Egrets in his Trigger set for this purpose. He can use this technique against two separate targets or focus both shots on a single target for increased firepower. He has even demonstrated an Acrobatic Twin Snipe, performing the feat while in motion, off-balance, or falling through the air without using the scopes. His ability to shoot accurately while moving is considered top-class within the organization. To support his sniping, he uses a Bagworm to hide from enemy radar, though firing his weapons forces him to deactivate it, and he also carries a Radar Trigger, often taking charge of it due to his efficient trion usage. According to official parameters, his skill and range are rated highly at 9 and 8 respectively, reflecting his proficiency from a distance.
