Description
Queen Horn is a supporting character in the anime Violinist of Hameln. She is the queen of Sforzando, a powerful human kingdom known for its magical knights and healing arts, and she is regarded as the strongest woman in the world.
Horn has ruled Sforzando for many years. The Sforzando royal family descends from a holy woman, and the women of the line inherit healing magic that draws on compassion and empathy, while male relatives typically serve as high-ranking priests; the bloodline is also known for its very long lifespan. For years Horn has secretly sustained a vast magical barrier that keeps the demon races from invading the human world, and the effort has gradually consumed her life force, leaving her near death by the time the main characters reach her kingdom. She is the mother of Flute, who was separated from her as an infant during wartime and raised in a distant village, and Flute discovers her true identity as the lost princess of Sforzando during the group's visit. Horn also lost a son, Lute, in the war years earlier.
Horn is a kind and wise ruler who cares for her people in a maternal way and is deeply respected for her healing powers.
