Movie
Description
Noah is a young Roma woman who appears in Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa. She has sandy brown skin, long dark brown hair with two front braids, and is slightly taller than Edward Elric. She is a fortune teller by trade and possesses a unique clairvoyant ability that allows her to see into a person's heart and soul with a simple touch. Through this power, she can extract memories and knowledge from others.

Noah's background is marked by persecution and displacement. As a member of the Roma community in 1920s Germany, she has faced constant discrimination and scorn. Her relations sell her to the Thule Society, a secret organization interested in her psychic gift, but Edward Elric rescues her from being sold. After saving her, Edward takes Noah to live with him and his friend Alfons Heiderich, and she begins having visions of Edward's life in his own world.

Her personality is shaped by deep loneliness and a desperate desire to find a place where she will not be ridiculed. She is described as having little inner resolve and is easily confused about the complex events surrounding her. Noah does not truly understand what Shamballa, the legendary utopia, represents or what Edward has gone through. Her primary motivation is the hope that she can reach Shamballa, where she believes she will finally be accepted for who she is.

In the story, Noah plays a key role as both a helper and a betrayer. After the Thule Society locates her, they persuade her to work for them by promising her a way to Shamballa. She uses her clairvoyant gift to extract knowledge of alchemy and Edward's world from his mind, providing the Society with vital information. However, when the Thule Society's leader Dietlinde Eckhart attempts to kill Edward, Noah realizes she has made a terrible mistake and pleads for his life, but her trust has already been exploited. After the conflict resolves, Edward and Alphonse part ways with Noah, and she is left to find her own path.

Her development throughout the film shows a character conflicted between her longing for acceptance and the consequences of her actions. Initially naive and desperate, she later gains a clearer understanding of the danger she was part of and the true nature of the people she allied with. While she does not achieve her goal of reaching Shamballa, her experience leads her to a moment of regret and a chance to move forward.

Noah's notable ability is her psychic touch, which allows her to read emotions, memories, and intentions. This power makes her a valuable target for the Thule Society, as they use her to unlock the secrets of opening a portal between the two worlds. Beyond her clairvoyance, she has no combat or magical abilities, relying instead on her wits and the kindness of others to survive.
