Description
Goro Otaki, commonly referred to as Inspector Otaki, is a detective from the Osaka Prefectural Police who appears in the anime film Detective Conan: Crossroad in the Ancient Capital as part of the joint investigation into a series of murders. He holds the rank of inspector in the homicide section of the Osaka Prefectural Police First Investigative Division and serves under the prefectural police leadership of Superintendent Heizo Hattori and Criminal Affairs Director Ginshiro Toyama, both of whom he greatly respects.
In appearance, Otaki has a shaved head, a sturdy build, and a scar over his right eyebrow, an injury said to date from just after he became a detective. Before joining the police, he dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player.
