Description
Nonna di Nobita, Nobita's paternal grandmother, was born May 20, 1903, and passed away December 14, 1969, while Nobita was in kindergarten. Her passing before his elementary school years left him with fond yet sparse recollections of their time together.

She features in *Stand by Me Doraemon 2* when present-day Nobita rediscovers a teddy bear she repaired during his early childhood. This find compels him and Doraemon to journey seven years back in time to see her again. They witness her comforting a younger Nobita after bullying. Despite their attempts to stay hidden, she notices the older Nobita and welcomes him warmly without demanding explanations.

She expresses a wish to see Nobita attend elementary school, prompting him to return wearing his school backpack to fulfill her desire. After seeing him in his uniform, she reveals a deeper longing: to see Nobita's future bride. This heartfelt request becomes the catalyst for Nobita's later actions in the film.

During Nobita's wedding to Shizuka, her spirit is present, discreetly observing the ceremony to witness the event she desired. Her influence resonates at key points when Nobita doubts his worthiness to marry Shizuka. During their shared time in the past, she reassures Nobita by affirming his inherent kindness and other positive traits, strengthening his resolve.

In another time-travel instance, she is present at the hospital for Nobita's birth, witnessing his parents name him "Nobita," reflecting their hope he would grow into a good-natured and caring person.
