Description
Kome Sawaguchi is a former member of the Japan Self-Defense Force who was transferred to the Terrestrial Administration Center, known as the TAC, due to her insubordinate behavior. Her aggressive combat style and volatile temperament earned her the nickname the Hurricane. At the start of the main story, she is twenty-two years old. She quickly becomes the TACs heavy weapons expert, bringing extensive military experience to the fight against the supernatural Aragami.
Kome presents a loud, brash, and fearless exterior, often clad in a bright pink jumpsuit that contrasts with her rough demeanor. She is deeply passionate about firearms and adheres to a bigger gun philosophy, treating her personal weapons with an almost obsessive protectiveness. Her personal motto is to keep shooting as long as she still has bullets. Despite her tough warrior persona, she is notably superstitious and dislikes bad omens.
