Description
Ginta is a member of the wolf youkai tribe and serves as the second-in-command to its leader, Kōga. He is almost always seen together with his best friend and fellow tribesman, Hakkaku. Ginta is a loyal and dedicated follower, with his primary role being to support Kōga in his endeavors.

In terms of personality, Ginta is portrayed as not being particularly clever and is easily frightened in the face of danger. Despite this timidity, his unwavering willingness to help and protect Kōga defines his actions. He and Hakkaku are also shown to be somewhat sensitive, occasionally taking offense at Kōga’s dismissive words or actions and openly expressing their feelings about them.

Ginta’s primary motivation is the well-being and protection of Kōga, the leader of his tribe. This loyalty is the driving force behind his actions, and he generally obeys Kōga’s commands without question. However, on at least one occasion, he and Hakkaku chose to disobey an order because they feared it would lead to a dangerous confrontation for their leader, demonstrating that their concern for his safety can override their usual obedience.

Within the story, Ginta functions as one of Kōga’s two constant companions, providing support and comic relief. He is a recurring supporting character who appears alongside Hakkaku in several episodes of InuYasha: The Final Act. His role is mainly to accompany Kōga on his travels and missions, reacting to the events around him and offering assistance where he can.

Key relationships define Ginta’s character. His most significant bond is with Hakkaku, with whom he shares a deep friendship and partnership. Together, they form a trusted pair that serves their leader. His relationship with Kōga is that of a loyal and devoted subordinate who is also a close friend. While he respects Kōga’s authority, he is not afraid to voice his concerns, and his loyalty is rooted in genuine care rather than mere servitude.

There is little to no significant character development for Ginta throughout The Final Act; he remains a steadfast and loyal companion from his introduction to his final appearance. His notable abilities are minimal. He and Hakkaku are known to possess a technique called the Throwing Star Attack, although there is nothing particularly special or extraordinary about this move.
