Description
Hitomi Minagawa is a seventeen-year-old student at Seitetsu Gakuin High School, where she is also the ace of the track and field club. Her athletic training is reflected in her physicality, as she is notably taller and possesses a more toned physique compared to many of her peers. She has a self-described tomboyish personality, which is reinforced by her use of the masculine pronoun boku when referring to herself. Hitomi projects a confident and somewhat cocky demeanor, carrying herself with the assurance of someone who is steadfast in her own abilities. This confidence, however, does not come from a place of arrogance alone; beneath her bold exterior lies a sharp tactical mind.

Within the Kämpfer conflict, Hitomi serves as the leader of the White Kämpfers, a faction that emerged from a truce that united former rivals. Her role is that of the frontline representative and coordinator, enforcing her faction's objectives and orchestrating conflicts with opposing groups through direct yet calculated methods. One notable instance of her strategic approach is a planned skirmish against the protagonist Natsuru Senō, which she set within her father's Italian restaurant. This confrontation, however, was ultimately thwarted by the unexpected arrival of other fighters.

As a Zauber-type Kämpfer, Hitomi wields magic that channels precise blasts of light-energy. This ability diverges from more traditional elemental powers and is considered highly versatile, serving effectively for both offensive attacks and defensive maneuvers. Her physical transformation into a Kämpfer is marked by her hair turning a distinct shade of green, which she typically wears in a ponytail secured with a ribbon. She is also occasionally seen with a small, mysterious stuffed penguin, a creature that hints at deeper aspects of her role as a Kämpfer.

Hitomi's personal history is tied to key figures in the Kämpfer world. She was initially shaped by her mentorship under Kaede Sakura, a pivotal character in the dynamics between the factions. However, she has since grown to lead the White Kämpfers on her own terms. Her interactions with other characters reveal existing relationships, including a prior connection with Shizuku Sangō as suggested by their conversations. Her narrative trajectory centers on navigating complex alliances, clashing with rivals like Natsuru, and maintaining a balance between her bold leadership instincts and an unrefined, pragmatic approach to strategy. Through these conflicts and alliances, Hitomi develops from a follower into an independent leader who coordinates the White Kämpfers' actions, enforcing their goals while remaining a steadfast figure in the series' ongoing struggles.
