Description
Menja-tallarines is the Catalan translation for the character more widely known as Ramenman or Victory Ramenman, a prominent superhuman fighter from the Kinnikuman series. His birthplace is Henan, China, where he became a specialist in martial arts, particularly Kung-Fu, which he combines with professional wrestling techniques in his fighting style. He stands at an imposing 208 centimeters tall and weighs 130 kilograms. On his forehead, he wears a kanji meaning center or middle, which is the first character in the Japanese word for China, signifying his national origin.

Initially classified as a brutal superhuman, Menja-tallarines undergoes a transformation over the course of the story to become a hero of justice. His personality is marked by a merciless intensity in combat, as demonstrated in a notorious incident where he defeated an opponent named Brokenman, turned him into Chinese noodles, and ate him in front of the audience. This act exemplifies the ruthless pragmatism he displayed early in his career. However, this brutal nature softens as he develops a more heroic path. During a later fight with Broken Jr., the son of his fallen foe, Menja-tallarines wins but also shows genuine remorse for his previous actions, which helps dissolve the younger fighter's hatred and signals his shift toward a just-hearted hero.

His motivations are deeply rooted in personal tragedy and a quest for vengeance. In his dedicated spin-off series, Tatakae!! Ramenman, he travels across feudal China with his young friend Shao-Mai, seeking the bandits who murdered his family when he was a child. This backstory of loss drives his character, though he eventually finds a more honorable path beyond simple revenge. His role in the main Kinnikuman storyline is significant as a powerful ally to the protagonist, Kinnikuman. He is one of several characters who begin as adversaries but become trusted friends. His standing among superhumans is reflected in his power level of 970,000.

Throughout his journey, Menja-tallarines forms key relationships that define his path. His trainer is Chen Sou-Mei, who taught him his distinctive fighting techniques. He also forms a notable tag team partnership with Buffaloman, with whom he develops a special combination move called the Bullet Train. The character undergoes a major development when he is critically injured in a battle against Warsman, leaving him in a vegetative state. To return to combat, he uses a mask crafted from a branch of a special healing tree, adopting the new identity of Mongolman while he recovers. Unlike many fighters in the series, he never dies, surviving into the sequel era, Kinnikuman Nisei, where he is depicted as being 66 years old. In this later period, he has a sister named La Niang, though his parents Somenman and Sou Niang, as well as his grandparents Nyuumen and Lo Niang, are all deceased.

Menja-tallarines possesses a wide array of devastating techniques, showcasing his blend of wrestling and martial arts. His known moves include the Camel Clutch, a classic wrestling submission hold, the Leg Lariat, the Kowloon Wall Drop, and a comprehensive repertoire known as the 102 Superhero Attacks. When not fighting, he enjoys hobbies such as tending to bonsai trees and cooking, and his favorite food is ramen, which directly inspires his name. His favorite book is The Art of War by Sun Tzu, a text that complements his strategic mind in battle.
