Description
Marie is a human character from the Japanese manga and anime series Kinnikuman. Her full name is Mari Nikaido, and she is introduced early in the story as a kindergarten teacher at Suminoe Kindergarten, later called Himawari Kindergarten in the anime adaptation. She is the first love interest of the protagonist, Kinnikuman, and is characterized as a Yamato nadeshiko, embodying traditional Japanese feminine virtues of grace, loyalty, and inner strength.
Marie was born and raised in Japan and works as a teacher for young children. She initially appears in the early chapters of the manga, but her role is largely replaced by the character Bibinba as the story progresses.
