Description
Kei Odagiri is a supporting character in the anime Koi Kaze. He is a colleague of the protagonist, Koshiro, working alongside him at the matchmaking agency. In terms of personality, Kei is consistently depicted as someone who openly discusses his attraction to younger girls, a trait that his peers find off-putting and perverse. His behavior is a source of discomfort for Koshiro, who is struggling with his own complicated and taboo feelings for his younger sister, Nanoka. Kei's unabashed fixation on young women serves as a narrative foil, highlighting the difference between his predatory inclinations and Koshiro's tormented and reluctant emotional entanglement. While Koshiro grapples with guilt and attempts to suppress his feelings, Kei shows no such remorse or self-awareness regarding his own preferences. In the story, Kei primarily functions to exacerbate Koshiro's internal conflict, as Koshiro fears that his relationship with Nanoka could be seen in the same light as Kei's blatant lechery. There is no significant character development for Kei throughout the series; he remains a static figure whose primary role is to reflect the darker, more socially unacceptable side of an age-gap attraction, thereby intensifying the moral anxiety at the heart of the narrative. No reliable information is available regarding any notable abilities possessed by Kei Odagiri.
