Description
Love Aikawa, commonly referred to simply as Love, is a character from the anime and manga series Bleach. He is a Visored, a Shinigami who has gained Hollow powers, and formerly served as the captain of the 7th Division in the Gotei 13 of Soul Society. His physical appearance is distinctive and memorable; he is very tall, with a thick, spiked black afro that adds to his height, and he is almost always seen wearing sunglasses and a casual jogging suit. His zanpakutō has a heart-shaped hilt, and he carries its sheath slung over his shoulder like a messenger bag.
Love's personality is generally easygoing and laid-back. He is rarely flustered and often appears relaxed, spending much of his free time reading Shonen Jump or even some of Lisa Yadōmaru's erotic manga. He has a dry sense of humor and a blunt, straightforward way of speaking. Despite this carefree exterior, he takes his responsibilities seriously, especially when it comes to battle and protecting others.
