Neliel Tu Oderschvank Adulta is the original and true form of the Arrancar known as Nel Tu, who was formerly the Tres Espada, the third-ranked member of Sousuke Aizen's Arrancar army. As an adult, she appears as a tall, composed woman with long, wavy green hair, a distinctive pink mark crossing her face, and a Hollow mask that takes the shape of a ram with two curved horns. A large number three tattooed on her back signifies her former rank.
Her background is marked by tragedy and betrayal. Before the main events of the story, Neliel was a powerful and respected Espada, widely regarded as the strongest female warrior in Hueco Mundo. She held a philosophy of combat that rejected needless violence and cruelty, believing that true warriors only fight for a just reason rather than out of hatred, prejudice, or animal instinct.
