Raiga is a Mototsumitama in Kurokami The Animation who appears in a supporting role. He becomes the contract partner of Daichi, who enters into a contract with him specifically in order to defeat Reishin. Raiga's background is marked by the destruction of his clan at the hands of Reishin, and revenge against Reishin for that act is his driving motivation. His place in the story is therefore bound to the struggle against Reishin, with his most significant relationships being his contract with Daichi and his antagonistic history with Reishin. Raiga's notable ability is his Exceed, the unique combat power that a Mototsumitama can wield once synchronized with a human contract partner; in Raiga's case, this Exceed takes the form of the Shiddin sword.
