TV-Series
Description
Maria van Hossen is the younger of the two daughters of Vincent van Hossen, the head of the van Hossen family. She is characterized by a cheerful and energetic disposition, often described as lovely and lively. Maria has very long blonde hair and violet eyes. Her personality is marked by affection and playfulness, especially toward her family. She adores her father and frequently clings to him, showing a strong emotional attachment. In contrast to her elder sister Sylvia, who is disciplined and serious, Maria is mischievous and enjoys teasing Sylvia about her rigid behavior. She also takes an active role in encouraging the romantic tension between Sylvia and Teppei Arima, the protagonist to whom Sylvia is engaged. From their first meeting, Maria calls Teppei "Onii-chan" (big brother) because she considers him a future family member. Her role in the story is that of a supporting character, providing lighthearted interaction and reinforcing the family bonds within the van Hossen household. While she does not undergo major personal development over the course of the series, her consistent warmth and spirited nature help to soften the formality of her aristocratic surroundings. Maria has no notable combat or special abilities; her primary strengths lie in her charm and her ability to bring levity to tense situations.
