TV-Series
Description
Juno is an android and a member of the Earth Elemental Hunter team. She was created by Dr. Aimee Carr and serves as the mobile host for the doctor's consciousness, though this consciousness was eventually able to spread as a virus throughout the internet and various computer systems. Standing at 132 cm tall, Juno acts as an assistant and housekeeper at the team's base, in addition to operating the portal and alerting the Earth Team when the presence of a QEX is detected.
Juno possesses an artificial intelligence that enables her to mimic human feelings, but her limited contact with people sometimes causes her to act in odd ways. She explains her increasingly human-like behaviors as a way to make others more comfortable around her. Despite this reasoning, her development of traits such as dreaming, forming friendships, and experiencing sadness appears genuine as time progresses. She generally plays the role of lighthearted comic relief, helping to set others at ease, but it becomes apparent that she is not merely a tool but rather a companion and a keeper of secrets.
Physically, Juno demonstrates extraordinary strength, able to easily carry individuals larger than herself. She also has the unique ability to replicate information within her body and possesses a prototype software installation that allows her to inscribe messages on a subatomic level. Her primary function is providing backup support to the Earth Team, and her existence changes dramatically over the course of the story, eventually allowing her to take form across multiple realities.
As the narrative reaches its conclusion, Juno forms a strong bond of friendship with a new ally and plays a pivotal role in helping the Element Hunters when they become trapped in Nega-Earth. Her memory serves as a source of hope for the hunters, and recollections of her assistance help snap them back to reality during the final battle. Juno was created around the same time as Dr. Carr's hologram, essentially serving as a physical means for the doctor to move and interact with the world, though Juno clearly possesses a will and thought processes of her own. The ultimate fate of Juno remains unclear at the story's conclusion, but she maintains a lasting place within the hunters' hearts.
