Description
Raeli, known in the original Japanese version as Rally Dawson, is a supporting character in the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. He is a boy from the Satellite district of New Domino City, the impoverished underground sector that is home to the main protagonist Yusei Fudo and his circle of friends. Raeli is the youngest member of that group, which also includes Blitz, Nerve, and Tank. Despite his youthful and somewhat delicate appearance, he is confirmed to be a boy.
In terms of background, Raeli lives in Satellite, an area whose residents are largely shut out of the privileged upper city. Unwilling to let Yusei die, Raeli summons the card One-Shot Cannon and destroys the Earthbound God Uru, sacrificing himself and wiping out his own life points. As he dies in Yusei's arms, he pleads for Yusei to save Satellite before crumbling into dust. When Yusei defeats Rudger, Raeli is restored along with the others.
