TV-Series
Description
Chester Horse Jr. is a student at Raimon Junior High and a recurring character known for his passionate ambition to become a sports commentator, just like his father. He is a short boy with very short, neatly cut black hair and he always wears his school uniform along with a pair of distinctive, opaque white glasses with red frames. He appears to be a dedicated member of the school's chess club, a detail that speaks to his methodical and observant nature.

His defining trait is his unwavering enthusiasm for football commentary and his relentless dedication to covering Raimon's matches. No matter where the team goes, Chester Horse Jr. is determined to be there. During the team's journey to stop the alien-invading Alius Academy, he would famously appear in the most remote or unusual locations, arriving on his bicycle, to provide coverage, much to the surprise of the team's managers. He is a supportive presence for the team, celebrating their victories as earnestly as any player, and his persistence makes him a fixture of the Raimon journey.

Chester's primary role in the story is as the play-by-play commentator for the audience, narrating nearly all of Raimon Junior High's important matches. He first begins by covering the team's qualifying matches for the Football Frontier tournament. When the final stages of the tournament begin, his father, Chester Horse Sr., takes over as the official stadium commentator, but Chester Jr. remains in the stands as a dedicated fan, even providing his father with notes on the Raimon team to help with the broadcast. He later resumes his role as a roving commentator during the team's travels to face the Alius Academy, covering matches in snowy fields, forests, and underground facilities. During the Football Frontier International arc, he commentates on the selection match for Inazuma Japan and the subsequent match against Neo Japan. His most prominent role in the video games is in Inazuma Eleven Strikers, where he serves as the sole commentator for every match.

His most significant relationship is with his father, whose career path he deeply admires and seeks to emulate. He has a friendly, though not deeply explored, connection with the team's managers, particularly Celia Hills, often speaking with them from the sidelines or the stands during matches. Over the course of the series, his role remains consistent, but his character shows development through his growing experience and professionalism as a commentator. The sheer number and variety of matches he covers demonstrate a maturation of his craft from a student doing on-the-spot reports to a reliable presence courtside. This career progression is confirmed a decade later in the series Inazuma Eleven GO, where he is shown working as a professional in the television industry, conducting an interview with a now-adult Mark Evans for a news report, a moment that visibly moves him to tears as he reflects on the past.

As a recruitable character in the original video games, Chester Horse Jr. possesses statistical attributes that place him as a supporting player. His notable abilities lie not in his physical prowess on the field but in his persistence, his dedication to his craft, and his talent for providing engaging and informative play-by-play, which makes him a beloved fixture within the world of the series.
