TV-Series
Description
Isabelle Trick, also known by her alien identity Bellatrix, is a character from the Inazuma Eleven series. She primarily serves as a skilled midfielder, most notably for the team Genesis, which is the supreme division of the Alius Academy. In the alternative timeline of Inazuma Eleven Ares, she is a midfielder for Alia School.
Isabelle has a slender build with blue hair styled with two distinctive white streaks and lagon-blue eyes. Her birthday is July 16. Her codename, Bellatrix, is derived from Latin, being the feminine form of bellator, meaning warrior, which translates directly to female warrior. This name reflects her core identity as a fierce and combative player.
Orphaned at a very young age, Isabelle and a boy named Xavier Foster were adopted around the age of four by Astram Schiller at the Sun Garden. They were raised alongside about ten other children of the same age, all of whom were trained to become members of Gaia, which was later rebranded as Genesis, the most powerful team within the Alius Academy.
Her personality is defined by a strong determination to achieve her goals and those set by others, particularly her adoptive father, Astram Schiller. While her nature can lead to a quick temper that is difficult to overcome, she is able to manage this because her inherent kindness is stronger than the darker aspects of her character. Described as a fierce warrior who is not dominated by her feelings, she is capable of making calm and calculated decisions, ensuring that her actions are never influenced by her emotions.
In the events of the second season, Isabelle appears alongside Xavier as a key member of Genesis. During the climactic match against Raimon, she assumes the role of captain in the second half when Xavier refuses to deactivate the team's power limiter. Following the defeat of Genesis, when Astram Schiller disowns the team and rejects the players, Isabelle's pent-up rage and emotional turmoil come to the surface. In a powerful moment of fury, she launches a shot at her adoptive father, but Xavier intervenes and takes the hit, shielding him from her attack.
In the third season, she is seen only briefly, playing football casually with other former players of the Alius Academy, indicating a return to a more normal and peaceful life. In the Ares timeline, she plays for Alia School. During the Football Frontier tournament, her team reaches the quarter-finals to face Raimon. In this match, she suffers a leg injury and is forced to leave the field. From the bench, she encourages her teammate, goalkeeper Dave Quagmire, showing her supportive side as her team ultimately loses 6-5.
In terms of abilities, Isabelle is considered one of the most powerful female players in the games. Her techniques include powerful shots such as Astral Shot, Meteor Shower, and she is also able to perform combination moves including Space Penguin and Supernova, the latter two executed alongside Xavier Foster and Wilbur Watkins. Distinctive blue bands on her wrist symbolize her role as the vice-captain of the Genesis team, and she is notable for being the only female player in the Alius Academy to have held the position of captain.
