Jordan Greenway, also known as Janus, is a character who first appears as a primary antagonist before becoming a significant ally. He is the captain and midfielder for Gemini Storm, the initial team deployed by the Aliea Academy in its campaign to dominate and destroy other soccer teams. Under his Aliea alias, Janus presents himself as a cold, arrogant, and ruthless individual who holds nothing but contempt for those he considers losers, showing no remorse as his team demolishes schools like Raimon Junior High. He fully embraces this persona, often using the phrase there is a proverb on Earth, but once freed from the meteorites influence, it becomes clear this was a facade born from manipulation.

The background of Jordan Greenway reveals he is an orphan from Sunshine Academy. Along with his teammates, he was used by Aliea Academy as a sparring partner for the elite team Genesis, and they were subjected to the brainwashing effects of the Aliea meteorite. A fragment of this meteorite, known as the Aliea Rock, was embedded in his uniform to grant him superhuman abilities. As the captain of Gemini Storm, he wields the Aliea Ball, a special black soccer ball that is heavier than a normal ball and can be used for teleportation and destructive attacks.

Following Gemini Storms defeat by Raimon, Jordan is freed from the meteorites brainwashing and loses his memories temporarily. Upon recovering, his true personality emerges, one that is calm, bookish, and much more pleasant. He retains a habit of slipping proverbs into everyday conversation without missing a beat. Despite his newfound gentleness, he struggles with a lack of self-confidence and a deep-seated fear of not being able to keep up with his peers.

Despite these insecurities, his natural talent is undeniable, and he is selected as a midfielder for Inazuma Japan, the national team representing the country in the Football Frontier International tournament. He steps away from his Janus identity and competes under his real name, Jordan Greenway. While his skill earns him a place on the team, his journey is cut short when he suffers an injury during a match against the representative team Fire Dragon, preventing him from playing for the remainder of the tournament.

In the later series, Jordan appears as an adult, having become the personal secretary to his former teammate, Hiroto Kiyama. He joins the Resistance, an underground movement fighting against the oppressive rule of the Fifth Sector.

Jordan Greenway is recognized for several notable abilities and techniques. His signature shooting technique is Astro Break, a powerful shot where he spins the ball to create a black hole-like suction before launching it toward the goal. His dribbling technique, Warp Drive, allows him to open a short-range portal to bypass opponents.
